Basic Information
Season: High School "Winter" Sports Season
Runs Early November-Late February
Practices: Monday - Friday 3:30 - 6:30
Practice Location: Tiger Legacy & Learning Center
510 Walnut Street, Farmington, MN 55024
Meets: Meets tend to start at the beginning of December and generally occur once per week on Tuesday
nights thereafter. Meet start time is generally 6:00pm.
Meet Locations: Home meets are hosted at the Tiger Legacy & Learning Center (see address above), and away meet
locations will vary based on opponent's site (please see the season schedule
for additional information).
Invitationals: Invitationals generally occur on Saturdays. We participate in 2-3 invitationals during a regular season. Start
times will vary. There will be no Invitationals during the 2021 season due to Covid19.
Invite Locations: Farmington H.S. Gymnastics will host their annual HOME Tiger Invitational which takes place at the
Tiger Legacy & Learning Center. Additional invitational's locations will vary based on opponents site
(please see the season schedule for additional information).
Try-Outs: During tryouts on Monday through Thursday, your student athlete will have the opportunity to participate in each of the four events. Your gymnast will be assigned to one of the four pods below. They will be scheduled to be in the gym for 1.5 hours either from 3:30 to 5, or 5 to 6:30. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of tryouts during a global pandemic, we will not have flexibility with regard to scheduling, or the opportunity to change pods during tryouts.
As athlete’s reflect on their week, they will be able to decide which single event they would like to “re-do” during their scheduled time on Friday, January 8. Gymnasts must submit their request by 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 7 using the form provided.
