2021 Coaching Staff

Head Coach:  Megan Wagner


MSHSL Gymnastics Coach Certified    


2021 is Coach Wagner's 1st season with the Tigers.  She has coached at the developmental, recreational and club (Junior Olympic) levels.  

Coach Wagner is a high school graduate of South High School in Minneapolis, MN. She was a club and high school gymnast from 1990 until 1999. She went to the University of Mn and Augsburg college where she graduated with a degree in education. She went on to get her graduate degree, at the University of Mn in 2012, in Integrated Behavioral Health. She currently works at Farmington High School as the Wellness Advocate and Chemical Health Coordinator. She offers students mental and chemical health education, support, and community resources. 

Purpose Statement: “I believe gymnastics provides a platform for individuals to realize their full potential through dedication, hard work, and unconditional positive regard for their team, in and out of the gym. It is my awesome responsibility to lead by example and remain mindful of my opportunity to positively impact every person I am fortunate enough to work with each and every day. “

Assistant Coach & Spotter: Brad Albano

Assistant Coach, FHS Girls LaCrosse Assistant Coach

2021 marks Coach Albano's 8th year coaching for the Farmington Tigers Gymnastics team.

Coach Albano has coached at the high school and MAGA levels for over 6 years and brings with him an advanced knowledge and experience of spotting, sports medicine, athletic training and coaching. Albano is also currently an assistant coach and spotter at Farmington Gymnastics Center in Farmington, MN.

Coach Albano is a Farmington High School graduate, and obtained his Bachelor of Science - Sports Management Degree from Bemijidi State University where he also played football. 

Purpose Statement: “I aim to create a trustworthy environment to gain the full respect of my athletes and fellow coaches in order to help grow the best team and athletes in the gym and out.”

Assistant Coach & Spotter: Sean Dougherty

2021 marks Coach Dougherty's 4th season with the Tigers!! Sean brings with him over 3 years of  coaching experience at the high school and MAGA levels.

Sean is a Farmington High School graduate. Sean is also an assistant coach and spotter at Farmington Gymnastics Center in Farmington, MN where he coaches a wide range of skills and ages, including MAGA. 

Purpose Statement: “My coaching philosophy is to have all the girls learn life lessons in the gym and be able to use them outside the gym.”
